Isaiah 61:1, 2

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn."

Pastor Albert "Tank" Weathers was born in Pensacola, Florida and lived there with his praying mother Mattie. Moved to Rockford, IL in 1984, got kicked out of Middle School and Job Corp and became a "Gangsta Disciple".

In 1996 he found Jesus and was converted from a gangsta Disciple to a Disciple of Jesus Christ.

Shortly afterwards (in the same year he was converted), he married his beautiful wife Lorraine Weathers and had 2 beautiful children. Lexus, (ministers in song) and Tayshawn, serves as an usher) both in support of the ministry.

14 years ago God gave him Isaiah 61:1, 2 and God gave him the name "No Cross No Crown."

God also gave him a dream and he showed him people who were young, of different nationalities and saved but they didnt look saved.

Pastor "Tank" got his training at "New Life Center" and served as assistant pastor for 5 years.

Then by faith and obedience to God, No Cross No Crown began in May 2010 and church began right in the front room of their home. They outgrew that quickly and then a miracle...the church went from the front room to a building!

Pastor Albert "Tank" Weathers has served 14 years in jail ministry, a spiritual father to many, has done many conferences, countless hours of counseling sessions and mentorship.

He is a man called to this generation...

- Extends grace and mercy

- Making a major impact in Rockford

- Stands on uncompromising truth with liberty in the Spirit.
